Do you want US military or Russian? I ask because technically Kyznetsov is Spetsnaz not US Army or Marines.

1) Based of the USMC
Four men in a fire team. Rifleman, Team Leader, Assistant Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman
Three fireteams in a Squad with a Squad Leader. Total of 13 men.
A platoon consists of three Squads plus three corpsmen, a LT, and a platoon sergeant.
A Company consists of three rifle platoons, a weapons platoon, four Navy Corpsmen, an administrative clerk, a police sergeant, a training NCO, a Gunnery Sergeant, a First Sergeant, a 1LT (XO), and a Captain (CO). About 75 to 200 soldiers.
A Battalion consists of two to five Companies and is commanded by a Lieutenant Colonel. About 1000 to 1500 soldiers.
A Regiment consists of three to five Battalions commanded by a Colonel.
A Division consists of three infantry regiments, one artillery regiment, a tank battalion, a Light Armored Reconnaissance battalion, an Amphibious Assault Vehicle battalion, a reconnaissance battalion, a combat engineer battalion, and a headquarters battalion.
2) Historically, Close Order Drill was used to maintain order and disciplined superiourity in melee combat. In modern days, the drill is used for the ceremonies or in non-combat environs for efficiency, ease of organization, and to encourage discipline. It is also used to teach soldiers to work and move as a team as well as for riot situations where melee combat is the norm.
Russian - In Soviet Union the parade start with the review of troops, speech of Marshall of Soviet Union, anthem, the troops parade, march of the vehicles and at the end parade of workers or gymnatics. The Troops parade begins with the drums and fifes and the various military academies most notably the Yuri Gagarin academy. At the entire of this academy in Red Square the orchestra plays the march of Stalin's Air Force. At the mid of parade the Zhukov Acamedy the Naval Engineering Battalion, soviet Paratroopers and the Moscow Military District continues the parade. To the end Naval Infantry, Dzerzhinsky division, Nakhimov & Suvorov naval academy, Moscow Garrison ends the parade
