You can only have 3 skills; depending on those skills your character is better at something than other characters. If you don't have a skill you can still attempt the task.
Farmer: Growing you, you tended the lands, you know when is the best time to grow foods and what crops grow where and when. You can grow food and harvest it better than others. (always has a supply of food)
Trader: You have skillful oral skills and you know what people want and people need. You can obtain weapons and equipment for lower prices *10% price reduction*.
Inventor: You’ve spend your life thinking about how things work, how things are used and have dedicated your life to creating new inventions to better your life. You are able to create custom weapons, craft inventions to better your survival.
Doctor: 12 years of grade school, 4 years of University, 4 years of medical school. You have strained your brain for twenty years to help people. Now, with civilization over as we know it, you can help injured people, hoping to keep them alive *You can not heal yourself.
Petty Thief: You have spent wasted years of your life pick pocketing off unsuspecting victims around the busy street. With civilization down the drain, you have learned to quietly sneak through the desolate lands and quietly slip into any place. You can steal objects from other players *16% success rate*.
Backpacker/Hiker: Outdoors camping and adventure was your life. You know how to pack for the unexpected and survive in the wild with your basic gear. You have a camping/hiking backpack (+1 carrying space). You can purchase survival supplies 70% cheaper
Sharpshooter: You have been shooting weapons ever since you could pick up that old Mauser Rifle stored in your grandfather’s garage. You have good marksman skills and are able to hit your targets 70% hit rate
Explosives expert: You’ve got a little bit of a Terrorist’s brain. You like bombs and you love making them and using them. You can buy explosives at a 20% discounted price.
Military: Active duty service has served you well. You have gone through years of training to fight where ever, when ever in the toughest situations. When in groups you are better adapted to battle. When in groups 3+ survival rates increases to 90%. When alone, survival rates decrease to 50%.
Leadership: Cunning with words and you know when something needs to be done for the welfare of others. People listen to your directions and respect your judgment. 70% chance of finding survivals who join your group (NPCs)
