Military Rank: Sergeant
Years of Service:4
Age: 22
Height: 5'8
Weight: 136
Weapon(s): M4A1 SOPMOD
Skills:Military Tier 2, Backpack Tier 2, Leader Tier 1
Weaknesses: remembering roads, a bit selfish, short attention span
Frame:Michael Hobbar is of English Decent(way back to the Colonial Era circa 1740’s) Michael has long arms, a 5’10 wingspan and has size 9 feet shoes. Michael stands 5 feet and 8 inches tall, and weighs about 136 pounds. Michael has diamond clear blue eyes and smooth light/pale brown hair. Michael’s eyelashes are longer than what most guys would want, but are the envy of every girl in his school. Michael has long fingers, about 6 inches, longer than most people that he knows, and also it makes it hard for him to find gloves. Years of braces has straightened his teeth to be almost perfect. He has small ears, but because he played violin and piano as a kid, has honed them to be useful assets. Huy has good strong abs from swimming and has pretty strong arms, though they are quite skinny. Huy's thighs and calves are especially strong and toned from his swimming careers. You can say that he looks like a skinny Michael Phelps.
Personality:Easy to get along with, good with following and giving orders if need be, have a hard time trusting people unless they are friends or people I know very well. Good personality and try to stay out of trouble for the most part. Michael cares for his friends and will do everything to protect them. He is a bit forgetting at times due to his rather short attention span.
Because of his relatively short attention span, one has to remind him sometimes to get something done.
Michael likes to associate with those who are smart, or has skills, often taking them to his advantage. Hes a good leader and is mostly fair when it comes to keeping the group on task and tasking everyone with a fair amount of duties. He is a bit selfish and lazy and would use his leadership role to his advantage, staying back as others do the hard work.
History: Michael was born on 7 November, 1993 in Atlanta Georgia. His father was on a business trip and his mother followed along because she didn't want to be alone. After about a month after he was born, Hobbar's family moved back to San Jose California where they had been before.
At an early age, Michael was always fascinated with the warfare and the military. His father had brought home a game called: Axis and Allies, a turn based strategy game about World War 2. Ever since then, Hobbar read countless history books, gone through hundreds of websites and watched countless videos about World War 2 and War in general.
Even though he was fascinated with the military, he never stopped learning. Michael was the on the top of his elementary classes. He did naturally well in almost everything that he does. At age 7, his mother pushed him to learn how to play the piano. He took lessons, but never did like learning all the classical songs, though he was a natural, just lazy as heck. Michael also tried many sports including: baseball, soccer(football), tennis, badminton, football(American), and swimming. He did well, being naturally talented, but he never excelled in anything really. Michael began drawing the soldiers as they trained, becoming a good artist. Michael joined the swim team when he was 8 years old and at first didn’t do very well, but his natural talent made him eventually do very well. Michael also started boy scouts.
In middle school, Michael further improved his academics. He didn’t excel, but was good in math, reaching Geometry by the 8th Grade. He also did relatively well in Science, being in the more advanced class.
Michael Joined a program called "Young Marines" A program similar to Boy Scouts, but more military structured. He had always wanted to join the Marine Corps, and this gave him an opportunity to see how it was like. He flew through the ranks, making it up to Staff Sergeant in little less than 3 years.
In high school, Michael joined the swim team, making it as the team captain. He also continued orchestra, being in the symphony group. Michael took many advanced classes including: Calc AB AP, Chem Hnrs, World History AP, US History AP, Stats AP. Many of his peers thought that his talents would be wasted if he joined the military, but he didn’t care. Michael’s parents weren’t too fond of him joining the military and generally prohibited it.
But, Michael turned 18, and his life wasn't his parent's control anymore. He was going to join the Marine Corps, but the Army offered a better college opportunity for him. He decided to join up in the Californian National Guard, to stay close to his friends and family. The Army had other plans however, they sent Michael overseas to Iraq. He spent one 1 year tour overseas before coming back home. He didn't earn any valor decorations, but he didn't need to. He just wanted to get the tour over with.
Michael found a job in the civilian world working at some business company. He was sent to Louisiana. He continued his service in the Army National Guard and was assigned to the 256th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. With the civil unrest in the streets due to heavy inflation and almost non-existent jobs, the National Guard was sent in to quell the civilian population.
